The Technics Audio Center app further enhances the control of the SC-CX700. The app features four main functions: SOURCE, FAVORITES, ROOM, and SETTINGS. You can intuitively switch between playing content and adjusting device settings.

 

With Space Tune™, you can adjust the sound quality to fit your environment

The SC-CX700 offers three Space Tune™ features:

(1) Easy selection from four presets (Free/Wall/Corner/On a shelf), which can be set individually for the left and right speakers
(2) Space Tune™ Auto for automatic adjustment with simple control via the built-in microphone
(3) Measured for more accurate calibration and correction using the Technics Audio Center app* (*iOS devices)

 

In harmony with the interior

The enclosure of the SC-CX700 is made from Dinamica™, a microfiber material with a soft, suede-like texture, partially composed of high-quality recycled polyester. The elegant design of the unit complements any interior.

This system combines numerous technologies— for speakers, amplifiers, and signal processing—that Technics has perfected over the years. With the SC-CX700, Technics has created one integrated solution that faithfully and accurately reproduces music and other sounds in intricate detail.

Acoustic Silence Construction
The amplifier and speaker units have separate structures and distances to minimize vibrations transmitted to the amplifier, ensuring clear sound reproduction.

Phase Precision Driver 4

The newly developed coaxial unit features a lightweight ring tweeter that allows the sound to rise and converge quickly, ensuring accurate sound reproduction.

JENO Engine

Each speaker is equipped with its own JENO Engine to reduce interference in the audio signal transfer between the speakers, resulting in high-quality stereo sound.

Model-Based Diaphragm Control

Model-based diaphragm control (MBDC) reduces harmonic distortion based on diaphragm motion simulation, achieving superior sound separation with minimal distortion.
