No expense has been spared to bring this SL-1200GLD in top condition.

The SL-1200GLD is the "Holy Grail" of all Technics Limited Edition turntables.
Released by Technics in 2004 in a limited number of 3000 pieces worldwide.

Why did we choose for a complete overhaul?
You don't often come across an SL-1200GLD aesthetically in new condition, which was the reason for us to include this SL-1200GLD as a project in our program.
If a turntable is not or hardly used, damage can still occur over the years, ambient temperatures and humidity can affect a turntable both technically and aesthetically.
Even with NOS New Old Stock products, we have the experience that after being stored in a box for 10 years, they certainly need attention.

Technics SL-1200GLD completely overhauled in-house by ALBEPRO
We started with a complete disassembly of this SL-1200GLD, every screw, part, electronics, wiring, PCB's, pitch fader, tonearm system, controls, housing, pop-up lighting, everything has been disassembled.
Then all plastic parts, controls, strobe lighting, pop-up lighting and tone arm system were desoldered and disassembled to the last part.

Just as the Technics SL-1200GLD was produced in 2004, we start with the revision and construction until we have realized a completely revised SL-1200GLD.

We have professionally polished the diecast aluminum cabinet, which is provided with a high-gloss piano lacquer (nano products from Flex), small fine scratches that were caused by dusting have been removed, making the beautiful high-gloss piano lacquer stand out even more.

We have completely overhauled / renewed the tonearm system with height adjustment, hydraulic tonearm lift and the anti-skating.
Great care has been taken with the arm lift and anti-skating, we can safely say that it is now better than factory Technics.
All gold-plated parts have also been cleaned and polished separately, please note that a lot of care has been taken here.

The bottom (rubber compound), the internal T.N.R.C (Technics Non Resonance Compound), the GLD insulators (feet) with gold-plated rings have been cleaned, not a single speck of dust or pollution is present, we sometimes say internally our organization, DNA test.

Overhaul Height Adjustment, Hydraulic Lift, Anti-Skating SL-1200GLD

The controls such as the start/stop, 33 and 45 speed buttons, stobe lighting and PCBs (Printed Circuit Board) have been completely disassembled, cleaned and rebuilt in a new Technics operation base, this is the black plastic part where the buttons, PCBs and strobe lighting have been incorporated, the black plastic edges around the buttons now look nice and sleek.

We have shoosen for a new original Technics upgrade power supply (power supply), this is the latest generation power supply from Technics with a larger transformer complete with new PCB and power cord, of course original from Technics!

The "heart" of this SL-1200GLD, the internal electronics, has been brought into top condition in-house by ALBEPRO with great passion.
It is not for nothing that we give a 12-month warranty on this beautiful Technics SL-1200GLD Limited Edition

The bearing axle of the turntable has been completely overhauled and provided with new original Technics lubrication.
The motor of this SL-1200GLD which is built with the FG Detection Coil assy and Drive Coil assy are really in new condition.
On the bright white inside of the motor you can see that this SL-1200GLD has hardly played any running hours, it will discolored (yellowed) when an SL has undergone many running hours.
