Renewed power transistor for better stable voltage on the motherboard.

Completely new power supply, original Technics including PCB, transformer, glass fuses and EU power cord.

The micro switches of the start/stop, 33 and 45 rpm controls have been replaced by improved Top Actuated switches. For this, the complete unit has been disassembled and cleaned. The controls work optimally again, perhaps even better than ex-factory back then.

New calibration in accordance with Technics specifications.

The bearing shaft was completely disassembled, pollution and old grease residues were cleaned, then the bearing shaft and bearing bush were polished.
Brass bearing bush and bearing housing have been checked whether they are still fixed, a common problem is that they can come apart.
Then the parts were lubricated with original Technics oil (this product is also in our program) and reassembled. Finally, the bearing shaft has been returned to SP-25, and as a finishing touch 3 drops of Technics oil in the shaft of the bearing shaft and the SP-25 is again up to date for 2000 playing hours!

Ultrasonic cleaning of the +/-6% pitch potentiometer for accurate operation.
For this we had to completely disassemble this unit and of course everything was cleaned, the strobe LEDs burn sharply.

Mechanical operation of the on/off button completely disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and reassembled.

The SP-25 is completely disassembled, all parts have been intensively cleaned, no discoloration or contamination.

The case and veneer has been deep cleaned and looks clean and bright.
The front corner points on the left and right show slight wear, but do not give a negative result on the whole.

The EPA-B500 armbase & EPA-A250 Titanium Nitride tonearm is in mint condition.
The dust cover is also in new condition.

The Technics SL-1025 is a complete high-end turntable system consisting of the SP-25 direct drive system, a base, and a tonearm.
The direct drive turntable is quartz synthesized, with continuous, quartz controlled pitch variation (+/-6%).
The base, made of one piece molded rubber, is both anti-resonant and acoustically deadened.
The tonearm consists of the EPA-B500 arm base and the EPA-A250 universal arm unit.
While the EPA-A250 is compatible with a wide range of cartridges, the EPA-B500 arm base features a slide-in connector which permits users to substitute any of the various optional arm units (EPA-A501H,A501M, A501L, A501E, A501G) of the EPA-500 tonearm system.
Such a complete tonearm system allows compliance-mass matching for almost any hifi cartridge ever made, excludingthose with built-in headshells.
