From April 11, 2021, the package can be picked up directly at PostNL point after the first delivery attempt in Belgium

From April 11, 2021, packages in Belgium will be delivered to you only once at the delivery address.

If you are not at home during the first delivery, the package will go to the nearest PostNL point.
The package can be picked up there from the next day. The second delivery attempt is therefore canceled in Belgium.

Why this adjustment?
PostNL strives to deliver as many packages as possible to the recipient at the first delivery attempt.
Because consumers are increasingly able to choose where and when they want their parcel delivered, PostNL succeeds in doing so with an average of 96% of deliveries.
Of the recipients who are not at home, it turns out that a large part is not at home during a second delivery attempt.
They know from PostNL customer satisfaction surveys that these recipients prefer to have their package delivered directly to the PostNL point.

We respond to this need by delivering the package to the PostNL point after the first delivery attempt. As a recipient, you will have the package at your disposal a day earlier.
