Featuring a Boron cantilever and an Elliptical Fineline stylus, combined with the advanced new Yan System. The G-1 MKII is the first model in Skyanalog's G-series.
Technical Construction of the Skyanalog G-1 MKII:
Stylus: Elliptical Fineline with a radius of 5 µm (150 µm length).
Cantilever: Boron for low moving mass and high rigidity (handle with care).
Components: Cross-wound iron coils, aluminum housing, robust plastic stylus guard.
The Yan System:
Introduced in 2024, the Yan System enhances the interaction between the spring and rubber disk, lowering the recommended tracking force to 1.1–1.4 grams. This reduces skating force, minimizes distortion, and allows for more flexible tonearm setup.
Features of Skyanalog's Yan Suspension System:
Minimal information loss and distortion.
Exceptional dynamic range and lifelike soundstage.
Enhanced transient response and clarity.
Analytical yet warm acoustics.
Tracking force of only 1.1–1.4 grams.
Stylus Maintenance:
Use a stylus brush only. Avoid using liquids as they may damage the stylus. Always handle the stylus carefully to ensure optimal performance.
Break-In Period:
The cartridge has a break-in period of approximately 30 hours at an average temperature of 23 degrees. The package includes screws and an Allen key for straightforward installation.
