The Benz Micro LP-S is a Moving Coil (MC) cartridge system with a low output of 0.34 mV and connects to the phono MC input of your amplifier.
The Benz Micro LP-S is every record lover's dream and at the same time Albert Lukaschek's personal masterpiece. It is simply the ultimate, the world's best cartridge system.
The business owner has put all his knowledge and skills into this cartridge without taking into account the development and production costs.
The sonic result was previously considered unparalleled:
Incredibly powerful and dynamic, at the same time extremely finely defined and absolutely harmonious
This Moving Coil cartridge system reproduces the perfect image of the musical original.
Technical refinements such as a coil former made of genuine ruby and a solid internal structure made of the finest brass are just two of the many highlights protected by an ebony case selected after long listening tests.
For ambitious analogue enthusiasts, the Benz Micro LP-S is a new highlight. What are you waiting for… ?
High End Moving Coil cartridge
Benz Micro LP-S = 0.34mV – Low output – connection to the Phono MC input
The low output voltage (= Low Output) of 0.34mV of the Benz Micro LP-S requires connection to a low-noise Phono MC input on your (phono) amplifier.
This should provide sufficient reinforcement.
Anyone interested in this ultimate cartridge system probably already owns a correspondingly high-quality, powerful phono preamplifier.
NB:
The Benz Micro LP-S weighs 16.7 grams.
This relatively high weight is the result of the ebony housing - good for resonance suppression, a challenge for your tonearm.
The instruction manual for your tonearm should state the maximum possible cartridge weight of up to 18.0 g.
Many tonearm manufacturers provide special counterweights for operating heavy pickup systems.
For example, the Technics SL-1200G and the SL-1210G are supplied with extra auxiliary weights of respectively 16 grams and 29 grams.
The 29 gram version is ideal for a correct setup.
For all music lovers who are interested in the Benz Micro LP-S, but whose tonearm cannot sensibly operate cartridge systems > 15 g, the significantly lighter Benz Micro SLR Gullwing is the optimal alternative.
Constructionally identical to the Benz Micro LP S except for the ebony body.
